New week, new endeavors...

I have not accomplished all the tasks I set out for myself as of yet today, but I am getting to them... slowly. A tad chilly here on the supposed spring morning on the Mississippi Sound. Sigh. So ready for summer. I have unpacked the last of the "get around to them eventually" tubs hidden away in closet whilst company was present in the guest room earlier this month. Have unpacked last kitchen box as well. I have not yet done my 2nd art journal page for March but it is on today's list. Have not yet started on Altoid shrine for one of my RNs at work either, but, again.. it is on the list. I have created a photo book for my patients to peruse (they have been asking for pics of new house) and created a birthday card. Also made (and consumed, of course) breakfast for 2 AND made my 3 meals for tomorrow for work. I found, unpacked and hung my Xanth pewter figurines on their shelf!! Wow... got them 21 years ago. I have been packing them around and now, finally, they are back o...

Oh what a week it's been!

okay...worked Monday so Tuesday was catch up day around the house... got rest of boxes unpacked, cooked meals for rest of week. Wednesday was work. Filled in Thursday at work (2-close) after getting a TON of things done, including Spring Equinox ritual. Friday I got taxes done, phone plan updated, new glasses retrieved, A MASSAGE, lunch then home to pack for an art night with some new friends... evening turned out to be radically awesome fun! Today was work (closed again) and then home to walk the newfound walking track @ SMU . Loads of fun, wine in hand. Tomorrow is the Blue Boy Herb event in Carriere... Monday is a meeting with Pam Allen, an SU demonstrator .. so excited! YAWN, goodnight all.

Not quite 2 weeks later...

Visit with my son, Jayce, was terrific. Far too short but he assures me he will come back sooner rather than later. Met Nikki, had lots of fun just hanging for the 4 days they were here. Next time they come she will be old enough to go into Hard Rock Casino, not just Cafe. FUN TIMES AHEAD! I have new glasses ordered from the eye doc visit I had today. Rx has not changed (which is good) and am getting a pair of WORK glasses since I refuse to wear my nifty neat (ie:pricey) glasses to my place of employment. And I made a kickass grilled cheeses sandwich for my lunch today, as well as breakfast/lunch/dinner for work days these rest of this week. Also found a woman who is part of a crafting group that meets every other Friday... and the next meeting is in 3 days! Planning on going to that since it is my other day off this week, so excited! Kitchen is now unpacked and living room is down to 2 boxes that belong to someone other than me.. so I will consider it unpacked as well. Settling in...

First New Moon in new home!

Here is a wonderful site I found for some insight during the new moon on Saturday... I ended up working (third day in a row) but when I got home I found 1/2 of the new kitchen floor had been laid! Bless her heart!! Sunday was cleaning out the old house and getting all the shinies & chimes and things out of the back yard. Today was unpacking and doing the March newsletter for the Gulfport Gem & Mineral Society. Then I made some Chex mix, cooked some fish for dinner, packed meals for work (Tuesday & Weds)... now I await Jayce's arrival this Saturday!

MOVED

got the last of the move done yesterday.. all appliances hooked up and running.... can you say exhausted? worked today, closed. home now.. tomorrow is ART ONLY day!!!

Now we begin in earnest!

OK ...today is my first full day off since papers were signed and now I begin moving in earnest... all those boxes I have been packing over the last several days will begin their trek to their new permanent location!! Electric and water are being turned on today, gas ppl coming Monday to turn it on and light pilots, etc. Handyman coming Saturday to fix the small plumbing leaks and whatnot. Moving company coming next Monday to get the big stuff (which is why I have to get all the boxes out of their way) and then we will relocate cats and ourselves... whew!
