My Chaotic Realm

I have not blogged in almost 7 weeks... that means there was no there has been no accountability posts since April. ARGHHHH In my defense May ended with my annual birthday camping trip AND with one of my co-workers being told to find employment elsewhere. So down to 9 teammates instead of the required 10-11. That means I worked at least 4 days a week in June. I did manage to scrapbook the B-Day pictures though. Speaking of June...that month started with my annual "All Class Reunion". Back home to Bandera we went-even the dogs! Took the camper this time, still stayed at my Dad's place. Mid-June saw us at the IMMS educational booth @ Jones Park during the summer shindig there. Got a tooth from a mackerel & a crow shark. Came away more educated because I didn't even know there were such sharks! we both also did some rubbings...lots of fun. And just when I had become somewhat used to working 4 days a week, teammate #9 quit at the end of June. No notice, no warnin...

So, a day short of 2 weeks in between posts... darn it! Last week was rough...worked 5 out of 6 days in a profession where you SHOULD work ONLY 3 days a week. Not an excuse...well, ok...realy it is one. So there. Just gonna own up to it.. I was flipping exhausted! Since I posted last I've had to revamp the rest of February's teammate schedule bc we are now short 2 techs (Yes! 2!) and write the March schedule. Managed a full moon firepit celebration, complete with libations, on the 11th. The 12th of February saw us bringing home the newest member of our flock... an ALiner popup camper! Laureli has spent her time as of late renovating it... camping is going to be so freaking cool this summer!! It even got new weatherstripping yesterday while I mowed the lawn. First mow of the season.. maybe winter is about over? The 13th saw me starting a "Clean Eating" challenge that lasted 5 days.. I made it!! Well, have made some samples for my card class on the 18th of this month but don't want to spoil the surprise so will post another picture of my current art space... this is the area behind me as I sit and craft looking out over our front yard... and yes, I am well aware that I have an addiction so just hush. At least the chaos is a tad bit easier to find, now that it has been sorted through. I am still tweaking the layout of particular items as I get settled into the space. Moving the bins around, etc. Keep crafting and stay inky!

I have not accomplished all the tasks I set out for myself as of yet today, but I am getting to them... slowly. A tad chilly here on the supposed spring morning on the Mississippi Sound. Sigh. So ready for summer. I have unpacked the last of the "get around to them eventually" tubs hidden away in closet whilst company was present in the guest room earlier this month. Have unpacked last kitchen box as well. I have not yet done my 2nd art journal page for March but it is on today's list. Have not yet started on Altoid shrine for one of my RNs at work either, but, again.. it is on the list. I have created a photo book for my patients to peruse (they have been asking for pics of new house) and created a birthday card. Also made (and consumed, of course) breakfast for 2 AND made my 3 meals for tomorrow for work. I found, unpacked and hung my Xanth pewter figurines on their shelf!! Wow... got them 21 years ago.
