My Chaotic Realm

So, a day short of 2 weeks in between posts... darn it! Last week was rough...worked 5 out of 6 days in a profession where you SHOULD work ONLY 3 days a week. Not an excuse...well, ok...realy it is one. So there. Just gonna own up to it.. I was flipping exhausted! Since I posted last I've had to revamp the rest of February's teammate schedule bc we are now short 2 techs (Yes! 2!) and write the March schedule. Managed a full moon firepit celebration, complete with libations, on the 11th. The 12th of February saw us bringing home the newest member of our flock... an ALiner popup camper! Laureli has spent her time as of late renovating it... camping is going to be so freaking cool this summer!! It even got new weatherstripping yesterday while I mowed the lawn. First mow of the season.. maybe winter is about over? The 13th saw me starting a "Clean Eating" challenge that lasted 5 days.. I made it!! Helped that I worked 4 of the 5 days the challenge lasted bc (as you know...

So, every Sunday I make a list of tasks and chores I am hoping to accomplish for the week. On the days I work, that is the only word written on that day... "Work" because after being gone from home 15-16 hours, I really don't feel like trying to get anything else done but sleep. What usually happens is that not all the itms on the list get done on their day so they get circled and bumped to the next day off from work. This particular chore got bumped from Monday to Wednesday to today.. and FINALY got done, at least as done as it can be for now. Next step is black weed barrier and a load of pea gravel. . Only thing left on today's list is visit Kathy's Book Depot to see how my card rack is fairing and then Art Night from 6-8pm. Can't stay any later because I have to work in the morning, sigh. It is a glorious day here on the coast so will leave you with another pic, this one over my roof where I was weeding.

Well, on my desk are 3 tutorials I want to share with you but since they are scribbled on scraps of paper they will have to wait until I get them typed up and the sample pictures attached. I also have a journal challence (windows) to complete. And I have 2 card sketch challenges that will also have to wait. Why am I being so unproductive? Because we BOTH have the day off and we are heading to 43rd Annual Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival!! One or two of the list might get crossed off later this evening but if not, there is always Sunday :-) Or after work on Saturday since I am not the closer. My art room is organized from my last blast though here and all tidied up so once I get back to it, GAME ON. the weather is T-shirt sleeves and saldals perfect and looking to be gorgeous the entire day.. I am so excited to be outdoors and hanging with my best friend for the day. May you all be so blessed in the week to come as well!
