My Chaotic Realm

Well, done the pre-qualifying... given them ernest money, gone through the preliminary walk-through & signed the land contract.... now to see if the bank REALLY meant it when they said PRE-qualified.... was HOPING to hear something back today but that is not so... shooting for closing just after Thanksgiving.... moving in starting December 1st... being out of rental by Dec 31st.... CROSS YOUR FINGERS, PLEASE, UNTIL I HEAR BACK FROM BANK!!!!

We've narrowed it down, and we still keep coming back to the one particular home... same one I've already mentioned.... we are going to go do a "walk thru" on it tomorrow. It is a "spec home" meaning builder built it with no particular buyer in mind, so it has the tan carpet that we so hate...but tile is what we really want so we wont mind it for now. It has no landscaping as of yet, so I can lay in flower beds as time/weather permits. It sits on a cul-de-sac on an acre of land that is not yet totally cleared, so we can slect where we would want circle to be. And trees. And fencing for the dog. etc... Sigh...happy, but scary...lots of work ahead, and a house is a huge commitment... about the same as my pythons, actually.... 30 years worth. Wow....
