My Chaotic Realm

I sing this because -when I put out the cats today- she (Daisy, the neighbors dog) was barking..so that is what I sang to her! Card is a labyrinth pic I had, mounted on CS with sentiment underneath... easy... I miss making cards lately, so much going on. And with company, is it polite? Hmmmm..

Remember Dreamsicles? That is what I think of when I look at this card! This is me bleaching paper again.... and a die curt flower, the words on a paint chip sample tied with a ribbon! So, picked up Antiga at 1pm, then we went to lunch with Deuce @ Solmnia's in S Austin. Awesome organic local food, let me tell you!! Now we are home and making contact with all the important people for Rafala's memorial service being held Saturday eveing in Elgin.

Well, woke up singing Toto, which is funny because, last night as the winds were picking up, I remarked to Spirit "We are still in Kansas, Dorothy." At night the breeze picks up, makes it very lovely while we walk the dogs. And you can hear the coyotes yipping from not too far away. We've got one bucket of water (25 gallon) out for them...the bathtub project is still under way. Damn thing is heavy!! But it is now out by the mesquite tree group. Now to clean the weeds (that I threw in it) out of it & put in a stopper so we can fill with water for the creatures in need of some. This card is one I made from scraps (pink part) after making another card with pink circles. I put the scrap piece onto green cardbase & then stamped inside 2 of the circles, stickered inside the other 2 then stamped sentiment on the front of it all. Easy! Off I go to earn kibble... if I can get the mastiff off my foot!

So, already this morning I Have learned that it is very hard to type one-handed. Abigale is very adamant that I pet HER, nto the keyboard. Sigh... welcome to my world. Abigale on the keyboard, Bud on my feet, Callie @ front door howling to be let out. Tara pacing from computer to kitchen (she hates to miss anything). The fish need to be fed, the cats let out (2 of the 3) and then get started on our breakfast & lunches whilst Spirit feeds the rest of the zoo. And I do mean Z O O :-) This card is a DSP background that I stenciled the wings with nail polish instead of ink. The body/antennae is pearlX. The sentiment is black in & EP. Alright, no rest for the weary... off I go to feed a species or 2.

One in a series of HB cards. Each one is a color. This one is blue, but I also did one in yellow (edge & heart stamp along bottom), red, orange, pink & purple. All are laid out pretty much the same. So, cats are already out, dogs have been walked, fish fed... now time to start on the people! Breakfast is sausage, egg, hashbrowns! Lunch will be Boar's Head lunchmeat & cheese on country potato bread. The MIA (vacation) coworker is due back today but the boss is not. :-) 4 day week for me as a friend is coming in from out of town for Rafala's memorial service and I am taking off Thursday to go pick her up and spend day with her. Will be grand, a day off with Antiga!
