My Chaotic Realm

16 more hours til the weekend!! Well, work hours, anyways. Meetup was a grand time, even tho just Aust & I there...the cafe finally (politely) had to tell us it was closing time... I hd NO idea we'd been talking for a coupla hours already. Fascinating man, Aust is. I really enjoyed the time, and got some new titles to peruse. Speaking of perusing... LOL...here is my Netflix list... talk about an odd mix:: Ray, FLightplan, The Aviator, Fantastic 4, Exorcism of Emily Rose, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, The Upside of Anger, K-19:Widowmaker, Against All Odds, Herbie: Fully Loaded, The Transporter (#2 was so good, I wanted to see original!), Bandits, Alfie (both the 1966 vversion & the remake), Mystic River, The Terminal, Joseph Campbell's The Power of Myth, Metallica: Some Kind of Monster, Resevoir Dogs, Eye for an Eye, The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane (ahhh!), Cider House Rules, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Nick of Time, Total Eclipse, Gods and Monster

and, for my date... I am taking Sheila's 5 yr old, Joshua. She has a play to attend w/her teenage daughter. And as I am single, I didn't mind picking up a date.. ...even if he IS only 5!! Too funny. No kitty on doorstep today, but otherwise the day has just rocked along. Wow, almost 4pm and I am just keepin' on keepin' on. Joined Netflix yesterday, should be some fun there. I am SOOO behind on movies!

Well, after weaving a few purses, I actually had a request (!) for one... here it is... she liked one of my earlier originals, but the pink lace gave it a more feminine style... she says it is the right size for her Casino Jaunts...LOL...you go!

Well, another weekend over and Monday already passed by, and what fun I've had!! Rick came over for dinner and movies Saturday... that was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed it. Transporter 2 was awesome, I thought...and Antonio Banderas is NEVER wrong! Sunday, I took computer to Dave to clean it up, so it is now back from it's R & R much peppier! Wednesday is annual Pagan MeetUp Day, so I will be joining some like-minded individuals @ Kismet Cafe for a coffee or two and some social time. And I am so excited about this weekend I can hardly sit still... monthly Art Day on Saturday, women's spirituality Book Club starts on Sunday... "The Mists of Avalon" is February's selection. As icing on my cake, a new kitty was asleep on my doorstep today!! A long haired Russian Blue (must be mixed breed bc those are short haired cats!!) was asleep in the heated cubby. :-) So much life still to be lived and enjoyed ~Here's to being single and self-sufficient~
