There is more to February than groundhogs, chocolates & lacy hearts. February is the time for stirring deep within, when seeds of new growth begin to awaken. It is the time of Brigid & Imbolc. It is the time to shut out the world and find the creativity amidst the quiet. When we find stillness, we make room for creativity. By the time February rolls around I've survived the "holiday season" (is it my imagination or does Christmas seem to have a never-ending retail life now?) and all the affronts from "well meaning" Christians who do not understand the Old Ways or that I practice them. Well, I pass this church on FM 150 just before I get to Hyw 21 every day... and I read the sign to see what new message of BS it carries to the unknowing lambs then just shake my head. well, wanted to post about the wonderfully full weekend of "The Wheel of the Year" intensive I have started... but work has been an utter nightmare nd I am still catching up from last week. Off early 1/15 for icing, missed 1/16-17 because of ice/snow... then had to catch up an entire week but I took off early Friday so I could make the WTI intensive on time Friday evening... ARGH!!! I will be working late today to catch up some invoicing... got over $80,000.00 post in 4.5 hours Fri but none of the invoices entered...I can only do SO much at a time!! So, for now, the Wheel of the Year WAS intensive, in all aspects of the word... and I will post about it soon!
