VersaMark Squares


Stamp a plain piece of cardstock with watermark ink (VersaMark, Perfect Medium, etc)
Piece above is 4x5.25 to be used on a 4.25x5.5 cardbase
Stipple CS with various shades of Perfect Pearls, PearlX, etc
(Or, you can layer different embossing powders but be careful bc they will get mixed together)
Heatset powders then dry emboss using pattern/method of choice. I use the Sizzix Big Shot.
Make frame 1 of 2 ways:
1. Cut paper into desired # of squares and glue to card base or a mat piece of CS leaving thin gaps in between each square, or
2. Glue piece as a whole to card base or a mat piece of CS and adhere 4 very thin strips across it to form frame
Add desired sentiment, embellishments, etc. Can also mat it onto coordinating CS and then glue to card base.

I currently have 143 cards for sale @ the Bastrop Producers Market... I know because I had to sticker them with my Vendor number yesterday... 27 of those are NEW ADDITIONS that I made yesterday before going out. Lots of fun!! A quiet week is planned... just a board meeting in N Austin at a coffee shop...how could I NOT go?! The Trip That Wasn't

We were taking 32 days to go to Portland (via family and friends in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Portland, New Mexico & Texas) and back, seeing several state and national parks (including Great Basin, Crater Lake, Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Wind Cave, and Palo Duro Canyon). On Day 1, a mere eleven miles south of the Arkansas state line, our truck broke down. We called Good Sam & they called Michael from A to Z Towing.  We spent most of 7/15 at Firestone. At 2:30pm they had a verdict, which was that the repairs were outside their scope of practice. We called Good Sam & they again called Michael from A to Z Towing, who towed us to the shop attached to the wrecker company, EZ Automotive. As the shop was closed until Monday, Michael called the owner. After explaining our dilemma permission was given to bring our camper as well as the truck. Michael set our camper down in the parking lot and ran an extension cord so we had power. We also had running water. Thankfull
