This is where I post my greeting cards, my animal companions, random pictures I take around the coastal area... who knows! Stop in, see what the post of the day holds for you. Blessings! chaotic
Background is stationery. Letters are chipboard colored w/ink to match the image. Image is a stamp done in versamark then embossed with a pinkish EP. Then I took ink on a sponge (Tim Holtz' distress ink in denim) and rubbed over the image.
So, today I opened a bank account for my card business. "cards by chaotic" now banks @ Pioneer Bank! Also, most of the cards you see here are for sale, if I have not already sold them OR mailed them off to a friend. :-)

Well, have made some samples for my card class on the 18th of this month but don't want to spoil the surprise so will post another picture of my current art space... this is the area behind me as I sit and craft looking out over our front yard... and yes, I am well aware that I have an addiction so just hush. At least the chaos is a tad bit easier to find, now that it has been sorted through. I am still tweaking the layout of particular items as I get settled into the space. Moving the bins around, etc. Keep crafting and stay inky!
What a terrific weekend I had!! Friday I worked and then met with the gals @ the LBCoC for arts & crafts night and taught the masking/sponging background technique. It was a blast... was going to make 3 different pieces but only got to the one, they were having so much fun! We also did a "punches swap" where folks brought their paper punches and cardstock and then we placed all the punches on a table and punched shapes from our paper from punches we dont own. Great way to share our supplies. Saturday was a fun filled sports event followed by the last meeting before Harrison County's 35th annual gem & mineral show and then on to a fantastically beautiful wedding for Casey & Bill. Sunday was off to a great start with LOTS accomplished (including brunch at Waffle House) before 11am and then a firepit created with red lava rock. Worked Monday and now have today off for all my errands.. let me leave you with a picture of our squirrel feeder as I head out the door...
