Oh, wait, it is ART that is beginning... the monthly arts & crafts circle!! Wonderful goings on!!! This is bleaching, the butterfly Sizzix die and a SU stamp!
...my weeks must be about 21-22 days long because my GOAL is to post weekly but my REALITY is every 3 weeks. ARGH. As a rationalization, however, I will point out that is is the BUSIEST time of the year and we are still under-staffed. I have been making cards and gifts and things for the holidays as well, and it is NEVER a good idea to type on a brand new laptop when you are playing with acrylic paints. NEVER!! Add to all of that an unexpected death in the family (11/18) and the resulting funeral (back home) you can see where my time has gone. On the win side of the equation I have written and addressed all my holiday greetings and gifts. They will go postal Saturday (my next day off). I did NOT do my November 1st accountability for the month of October... allow me to combine those 2 months into one since I work tomorrow (the last day of November) ::
Make a booklet or journal? Actually, I DID! It's a gift :-)
ATC Challenge... on hold for the Holidays!!
Mission Inspiration jou…
and with is the yard got mowed...AGAIN!! It really is a lovely yard. I am on track for the #52in2018 challenge, in spite of work. I am on task for my Mission Inspiration Challenges. The monthly work schedule was posted. Suzi has seen multiple rides this week due to awesome weather. Even rode with a friend (or 2). Tonight is birthday night for my monthly Art Gals so packing up my project now and then heading out.
All in all a great month so far.
The only down side to this month has been the appointment I made for Bud Mastiff's final vet visit next month. The time has come. I am taking him home to see his Daddy & GreatGranddad and see if anything is left on his bucket list. As my Dad so nicely put it:
Ol’ Man Bud’s finally gonna cross the Rainbow Bridge and go live in the Land of Kibbles & Bits...
Ecclesiastes 3 (1) “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
(2) “A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to…
...no riding today but it is still a really nice day... steady breeze off the water and over my workspace thru my open windows. A cat is tromping back and forth over my keyboard. The lingering smell of acrylic paint is in my room. There is the sloshing sound from coffee in my cup. Errands to do include procuring turntable, toilet paper & butane (my torch is in need) as well as gifts for birthday party this Friday. Awaiting scrapbooking challenge that is soon to be posted so will work on that when I get back. All this makes for a terrific day off!! All this makes for a terrific day off!! I completed this month's Mission Inspiration challenge last night after work so that is crossed off my list. I have 4 jams and 3 collaboration ATC sets to do and one planner post to make. when all of that is done I will forage for some grub and call it a day. See ya next Wednesday!
