My Chaotic Realm

Well, alive & kicking, Song of the Day caught, lunches made, coffee ready & out the door I go. Gloriously calm day yesterday, in spite of the weather. Blissful, almost. Today is filing @ Work...wheeeeee. Got about 10 cards made for replenishing my rack @ the BPM :-) Now I just have to pack for the Saturday Creativity Workshop... am thinking of taking the scrapbooking project that I never seem to get to and working on that @ the Pine Crone Labyrinth Retreat Center, where the weekend is being held... such a relaxing place! Off I go....

well... the bird stamp set arrived last night... but by the time I got all my chores done (an hour and a half LATER!) I had time to make 1 card... 1. Sigh. Ah well...tonight the rest of the order arrives!!! I am so jazzed, marred only slightly by the fact that I have a board meeting in N Austin tonight & so will get home JUST IN TIME ... to go to bed....

the song was by Courtney Love's band Hole... Violet... I have not idea why it is called violet unless it is just one of the random words from the opening lyrics... oh well! So, update... I currently have 143 cards for sale @ the Bastrop Producers Market... I know because I had to sticker them with my Vendor number yesterday... 27 of those are NEW ADDITIONS that I made yesterday before going out. Lots of fun!! A quiet week is planned... just a board meeting in N Austin at a coffee shop...how could I NOT go?! And Janee Ward's "Stepping Through the Doorway" creativity workshop @ Pine Crone Labyrinth Retreat this Saturday & Sunday. I am expecting "The Toy" to arrive Wednesday so I am pretty sure what I will be doing all of Thursday & Friday evenings :-) Stay tuned.................

well, over a week has gone by since I last posted...that is what happens when you are a wee bit under the weather over the weekend, then sick enough to miss work the 1st part of the week...sigh... and did I get ANY art done? NO :-( But, with the help of Rebel (and the added lure of a free lunch!) I did get my card rack set up at the Bastrop Producer's Market , near the intersection of Highway 71 & Highway 21!! So now we see, I guess... so many people have told me how much they love my cards but those people KNOW me. Will I succeed selling to people that DON'T know me? Who knows... but I do know that, with 12 birthdays coming up, I suddenly miss my card rack. Will have to go visit it Sunday before the New Moon @ PineCrone Labyrinth and snag a few of my own! Or, stay well long enough to make some more. I have been adding to the "Project Box" but not doing. sigh. Actually, lots of time, just most of my time is taken up by work... what is not taken up by work I give (happily) to my community so what time is left for home/art/creative activities is taken up with animal tending, household chores, and a few hours of sleep tossed in for good measure... sigh...

My feet hurt, I am too busy, and I wanna go back to bed...and that ^^^ is what I woke up with....sigh
