My Chaotic Realm

Well...back from my doc...she was okay with most everything. Gained 6 pounds :-( from when I was last there 12 weeks ago. But that beats the 1-2 # I WAS gaining every week. Also gave her the "good news", that I'd joined Curves 4 weeks ago. The "bad news", I told her, was that I had not lost ANY weight-- I weighed exactly the same today as I did when I started there four weeks ago. She said that was not really bad news as no one loses weight in the 1st month of working because they are converting fat to muscle, which weighs more. So...I'll keep it up. She says changes in body composition are more telling than the scale. I do the "weigh & measure" thing @ Curves the 6th of every month so I will see what happens then. After a little more discussion, we tweeked one medication and did three more thyroid blood tests ... thinks my gland may be enlarged. Did you know your thyroid gland is located in your neck? I didn't until she started poking ...

Well..we sat down last night & plotted out the calendar for April & May... my my my my my. It is such a good life, and we enjoy sharing it, both with each other & with others. So we are so involved in all type of things... RCGi, WTI, WotY, 2nd Thursdays, Meetup groups... wheeee!! Rebel's roomie let his dog out, Rebel found him that same evening (Thursday) at the animal shelter, only to have the idiot roomie let him out AGAIN the very next day!! ARGH!! Finally, Hays County animal control picked up Rebel's puppy yesterday afternoon on the dog's way into WIMBERLEY!! From Tx State college... wow, he was hoofin' it!

well, posted our "2nd Thursdays" to Witchvox and to our Meetup Group (Grove) and have met one sister pagan... will see how many more decide to participate... also still have to post it to the RCGi group list... sweet..April is coming in FULL!! POuring down rain here still... quack, quack....

Well, Rebel's housemate let Bud (R's dog) out... then went off to class w/o retrieving im.... idiot!!! Bud was finally recovered from the animal shelter last night, only to have MYSTERIOUSLY let himself out again, utilizing his pays around the front door KNOB... Hmmmmmmm. Last day of P's vacation..Monday she returns to the hell we've made for her...anything we could put off, we did! LMAO... poor gal, she'll need a vacation just to recover from all the piles & post-its on her desk Monday morning. Looked at the calendar for April... we have events/meetings/moons/classes 13 of the 30 days. A full life we lead, but it is very rewarding! The meetup group we host has Full Moon and then our RCGi FM group meets. Between moons (full & new), WOTY Tx meetings & weekend, our WTI Advisory weekend, book club, monthly pagan dinner...WHEW!! Got the Beltane altar set up last night. Got some stuff moved around on the bookcases, too. And kid's VCR tapes put up...

Well, it is Friday....day one of my co-worker's vacation in Terlingua. And, Newest Newbie is out sick with her baby still. AND the bosses are pigging somewhere in the great state of Tx at a "Stock Show". On the good side, it has been a REALLY slow day. Nice weather tends to do that to the propane biz, LOL. So, I have been productive, in spite of the work lag. Let's see... I came in, answered a few calls, went to post office, came back and posted payments, balanced my own check books so I could pay my own bills, had an AWESOME salad for lunch (I brought it from home). Spinach, arugula, mixed greens, avocado, cherry tomatoes, feta, croutons, crab meat...YUMMY!! Then what did I do? Checked my email, posted the next Full Moon Meetup , updated my datebook, ordered training manuals from RCG for the upcoming Advisory... and ordered 2000 crickets!! Now, onto Survey Monkey so I can help out with the planning for our groups 2nd Thursday stuff!!

Well, phooey... the newest newbie is a no call/no show for work today... Yesterday when she called in (bc day care would not take sick baby) she said she would be back to work today. But she did not answer her cell or her home phone so we are concerned maybe something is wrong, baby ended up in ER, something drastic? Stay tuned..... It is also her Saturday to work, and the older newbie said she can't cover this Saturday bc of her child. ARGH!!!! Waiting to hear back from realtor... working for the weekend... and it is only 9am ... sigh...
