Well!! March blew in like a lion, alright...at 5:47am !! Had all the windows open in the common areas... so it blew off the kitchen tablecloth, blew a kitchen chair over... oh, and did I mention the rain-slick kitchen floor I went skating across in the dark? Did not want to literally "bust my ass" to get the windows closed..was merely a figure of speech!! Thank the goddess that I did not leave the windows open the the python parlour OR the dragon den last night. Temps are still getting a little too low for their comfort level, but at least we have been able to leave the heat off at night. So, completed a spread & sign-in page for my 'Dark Themed' altered book (round robin) and am now ready to mail on Zeborah ( yahoo Express Yourself art group). Then I started on the "Dancing in the Dark w/Nature" swap but am not yet ready to let them go. That leaves starting on the Monochromatic swap and a few random round robin items still floating around... think ...

Well, not sure what February came in like, but managed to put my knee thru a 1/4" sheet of glass this morning. Good news is, I managed to NOT bleed all over the light beige carpet. And I think I got all the glass shards cleaned up. AND I made it to work ON TIME! LOL.. so ends the 2nd month... now to gallop into the third one! Lots of stuff coming up in March... RCGi's Full Moon group, visiting parental units in Bandera, Book Goddess group, Pagan Dinner, Art, Rachel's birthday party, New Moon, Ostara, visit parental units again, and then ending the month with a Mandala Meditation class. WHEW!!

Well, turns out our Furries (Alecto, Tisiphone, and Magaera) are having some domestic sisterly squabbles. Alecto and Magaera (one or both) have been picking on Tisiphone. We knew they had spats now & then, you hear them squeak and rush about. Well, yesterday I heard a PROLONGED (3-4 second) shreik and when I investigated, Tisiphone had run around behind the house & was backed into the corner...and had bite marks on her flank. Can't tell if they ar all fresh or this has been happening for a while because they are so fast it is hard to see them.... they wont be still!! So, arranged temporary lodgings and finally managed to scoop Tisiphone up & relocate her until we could decide how to handle the sibling rivalry that evening. Solution we chose was a 3 floor condo, each level having its own house, water bottle & food bowl, as well as shred to play/burrow in. In no way was this a small undertaking.
