OMG Really? 3 Months???

Well, the whole "blog once weekly" thing really got away from me, didn't it? SIGH. June was work work work. And get a new phone (finally). Nothing else out of the ordinary. Nothing exciting to share. UGH. July kicked off with a bike ride to Our Lady of Guadalupe's annual crab fest where I actually ate a crab! We spent the early part of July planning the trip we'd be taking the end of it (Bestie's Bday trip). Met with a group out of Picayune and am still checking them out. Rode with them one Sunday in July only to end up with a flat freakin' tire...crap! That incurred a tow by a dear (funny) gentleman and having to get Suzi picked up that Monday for a tire and went ahead and had them do her regular maintenance items. $$$$ We pulled out July 28th for the "Gorge Tour", not at all unline 2014's "Waterfall Tour". Same general area, actually. This time we would be staying in the Great Smoky Mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lots of rain so didn't get as far as we wanted but we DID ride the "tail of the dragon". With a camper, no less. Sheesh. When we returned it was Family Day for the new group I am looking into... that was loads of fun and I found my new fave potluck dish to take, thanks to Kitty. September will be work work work. October I have a trip to Dad planned. That is really "all the news fit to print" as the old saying goes. Maybe next time I won't be gone from here for so long?
