Good to be home
Well, we made it out and back...what a wonderful trip! Georgia, Tennesse, N Carolina, Alabama and then back to Mississippi, all in 8 days. Lots of falls, caverns, hiking and sights along the way.
Before I left for vacation, a friend of a friend asked me about the job I do and if I thought her daughter would be suited for it. Explained I ws unable to determine suitability but that I could explain a typical day to her. After I did, she decided to not even bring it up to her daughter.
Most people think I have a cushy job because I only work (in a typical week) 3 days a week. Even though those 3 days garner me anywhere from 34-39 hours, they still think "Oh, still only 40 hours... and 4 days off...great deal!" So, I told my corkers about the chat and they, too, rolled their eyes. It was mentioned I should line out just what a day in dialysis looks like... so I did!
