Bud Mastiff Johnson April 5,2006 - April 25th, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce Bud Mastiff Johnson has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Bud died peacefully Wednesday, April 25th in the arms of his grandma, Kristi Johnson, and under the care of Dr. Hunt and his assistant, Pam, from Veterinary Mobile Medical Services. Bud was cremated by *A Pet*s Memory* in Gulfport MS and his ashes were laid to rest in his family home. All loved ones who wish to say goodbye to Bud are invited to do so at their convenience.

Bud was adopted by his daddy, Jayce Johnson, in the summer of 2006 and quickly became a dog legends are made of. Bud arrived in our home as a tiny little ball of fluff. He came with the ability to destroy any crate, gate, door handle, cabinet or trim molding he encountered. Adding to that was his ability to duck out any open door and make a break for fun. Alberto crashed Bday Beach Trip...

This year's birthday beach destination was Florida. I have never set foot actually on Florida soil and so I was in for quite a treat. The beaches are MAGNIFICENT!! The water is a greenish hue ans so clear you could see through it. Got some cool shells, part of a large sand dollar and a wee bit of a tan. No burn this time, thanks to a new container of SPF. Apparently the one I took for the Alabama trip a few weeks ago had passed its prime. OUCH! So, we hit Santa Rosa, Destin & Panama City beaches. Friday was awesome beach day. Saturday was good right up until early afternoon, at which point the outer bands of Alberto were making themselves known. We came off the beach well rinsed and headed into the shops for some sightseeing and boosting of the local economy. Sunday dawned a bit cloudy but dry and so off we went for Pensacola. Spring has Sprung

and with is the yard got mowed...AGAIN!! It really is a lovely yard. I am on track for the #52in2018 challenge, in spite of work. I am on task for my Mission Inspiration Challenges. The monthly work schedule was posted. Suzi has seen multiple rides this week due to awesome weather. Even rode with a friend (or 2). Tonight is birthday night for my monthly Art Gals so packing up my project now and then heading out.

All in all a great month so far.

The only down side to this month has been the appointment I made for Bud Mastiff's final vet visit next month. The time has come. I am taking him home to see his Daddy & GreatGranddad and see if anything is left on his bucket list. As my Dad so nicely put it:
