Blessings of the Storm....

Be it Yule or Christmas or Hanukkah (Festival of Lights) or Kwanzaa ("first fruits" in Swahili) I wish you many blessings of love and light as 2012 draws to a close. As for those of us living on the southern MS Gulf Coast, a storm is coming with some severe weather, tornadic winds and rain. Worked Monday then home for a brief nap before heading to the choir party, which was followed by choir practice and then the midnight mass... exchanged gifts when we got home and them settled in for a long winter's sleep. Don;t know about the sugar plums because I was dead dog tired. Slept late then leisurely enjoyed a couple of cups of Dunkin' Donuts Mocha Mint holiday coffee until, feeling refreshed and starving, we headed to Waffle House for pumpkin spice waffles and hash browns covered & capped. YUM!! Then strolled along the beach before heading to Scharrion's place to greet her. Now, storm is spattering the cats with rain so we have called them all indoors and are preparing to snuggle in and watch movies... a perfect day!
