Happy Mom's Day to us all....

Happy Mother's Day to everyone... does not matter if you are a mother to flesh & blood, and acting mother to someone else or a mother of ideas &/or community... blessings to you on this day. And, I especially wnat to wish my SON a wonderful day, ofr-without him- I'd not be celebrating! Thanks for the 22 years of trials, tribulations, pulling my hair out, shaving all yours off, etc :-)

too damn short staffed at work

the title is also my reason for not posting in a month.. .geez!! I am working in a field where the average worrk week is SUPPOSED to be 3 days... try FIVE. and when those days are anywhere from 11-15 hours, you dont really wnat to work them all in a row... not even back to back. Last week, we watched the tide turn. I’m not celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death, but I’m not mourning it either. We can hold two truths at once: sadly, assassinations are happening at all, and also that Kirk died on the altar he built.
