update!!

okay, no pictures yet... can't find the digital camera! But, all went as planned, which just shocks me! Mailed final rental payment off November 30th (certified USPS) and we are now simply HOMEOWNERS. Saturday, Spirit & Rebel picked up the Uhaul. Shortly after they returned, Centex showed up & off he went with Rebel to get the futon. Aria showed up with 18 breakfast tacos!GS appeared out of nowhere with a truck...loaded the indoor stuff into the UHaul and the outdoor stuff (lawnmower, rakes, circle stones, etc) into the truck. Off to unload Uhaul, back again (Rebel had by then procurred reinforcements) for 3nd load. That was it, mainly... the dragons took their turn the 3rd time around, and last (but certainly not least!) was Dinkum's kennel and house. All done around 4pm... and whilst we were doing that, a beloved soul decided to stay behind and clean up some :-) so there was really actual very little left for cleanup crew Saturday evening. First thing Sunday morning the carpet cleaning company came and did their thing and then off we went to Bryan, greatly relieved to have it all done with. We did borrow a mini-digicam to record how we left the rental place as the crew was wrapping it up & leaving. Just in case.... you never can tell about people once they go off the deep end. Monday I stayed home for the inspection and walk-thru and a little unpacking. Mostly wandering around amongst the boxes trying to decide what was what. BNR arrived Monday to put the library & apothecary into some semblance of order. Thank the Goddess!! Yesterday was filling the pantry with groceries (we were OUT!) and tonight Peace & Company are coming for a look-see and some food! Happy Dance. Master bedroom still looks like a landmine hit it. My art area looks even worse than that, if you an imagine. Sigh. That is tonight's project... throw it all out and then bring it back in, piece by piece.
