Enigma's turn?
Well... if I were going to write a Personals's ad for Enigma, what would I say? I would NOT title it "Looking for Fun" to start with... I don't think that is the true goal. I think the goal is a search for an equal on all levels. What would it take to be an equal? One of sound mind, strong character, and a will that is made of titanium. Titanium, if you are familiar with it, has some really awesome properties. Doctors use it for surgery because of it's ability to flex & yet remain strong. I think that ability will be key in any relationship with Enigma.. that and your personal ethics must be strong and true.
With that said, what can I tell you about Enigma? Well, these are only my own PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS, keep in mind... this is not at all sanctioned by or approved or even known yet by the written about party:: :-) y'all really should read this blog more often....
"Something That Baffles Understanding"
Maybe enigmas are not meant to be understood...maybe they are meant to be experienced as a force of nature...wondered at in awe, felt to the very core, loved to the extreme, and then remembered with smiles tugging at the corners of your eyes and mouth and your heart when they are gone.
Motivated is an understatement. Can you say "Type A Personality"? :-) Let's just throw in freedom-loving, strong-willed, and independent-minded, individualistic, insists upon living life as sees fit (ignoring convention and tradition as needed to do so). Will NOT be owned or possessed. Even tho quite willing to share self with another, does not always adjust easily to the emotional give and take of a close relationship (wounded). Though intellectually open, can (more than likely will) be stubborn & opinionated on a one-to-one level. Has strong convictions and feelings about fairness and equality, lives by own ideal (however those ideals about how people SHOULD treat one another don't always take into account human weaknesses, differences, and needs). Mostly has little use for sentimentality and traditional gender roles and "games".
Enigma is a smart cookie... don't be fooled... one with multiple mental interests and abilities I have barely tapped into... a progressive thinker, open and receptive to new technologies and breakthroughs. Also likes to keep abreast of current developments in world affairs, for Enigma knows that what happens in one part of the world affects everyone. (Far too current for my tastes, I must say.) Has a strong humanitarian impulse, with no patience for those whose conservative and/or unimaginative outlook limits their capacity to find solutions and envision a better future. Practically speaking, there is an aptitude for organization and joy of being involved in cooperative endeavors or businesses that are contemporary and innovative... that involve giving back to the community, giving back to the people, protecting, being a part of.
So, if I were to write a personals ad, that is where I would start. Start, mind you. Enigma is a deep well.... barely tapped. And you know how I like to write... nothing is ever a "short story"!
