Sizzix die cut then rubbed on sentiment.. you have to see this paper up close.. lovely! And, now, unofficially.. the start of the weekend.. I LOVE FRIDAYS!

And when I come to her that's where I belong... kinda goes with the card, I thought.... can you read the sentiment? So, this one took a little while longer than yesterday's card, but was still fairly easy. and, it is almost the weekend.. so excited... not because it's my birthday or anything but because I get some time to chill in my hammock, ride motorcycles with friends... R E L A X!

Yes, I know the song is actually called "Love Story" but I call them what I wake up singing... and that what what I was smiling about this morning... :-) Hey, did y'all know Taylor Swift is a woman? I had no idea who sang this until I went looking for the video.. every time I heard the name I pictured the dude from American Idol. Can you tell how much TV I DON'T watch? Anyways, this card was made using a DTP (direct to paper) inking technique and an overstamp in pastel pink as well as a clear vellum sticker in the center... easy! And, in another line of thinking.,. the world needs YOUR resounding and unconditional "Yes".. .think about it... and then go do what you are called to in the world. Blessings!

Altho, if you see card's message... they do sorta go together? This card was fun... DSP cut to fit card front, a clear acrylic sticker in coordinating colors and then a japanese hole punch (because you can punch a hole ANYWHERE with one of those) used to lace a belt around the dressform. Another AWESOME weekend... spent it watching people do Aikido and test for black belts... wow, they sweat! So much for a passive martial art form. That looked like work to me! And now, time to uncover my Harley and go to work :-)

But I can't trace time... I said that time may change me...But I can't trace time. Here is a card I made that my cell phone wont do justice to. Sigh. That reminds me, have 2 more to take picture of with my REAL camera.. LOL. Started my 1st kefir colony this weekend and will be enjoying a smoothie this morning as a result of that endevour. Also started a kombucha tea last night. Wait and see... wait and see.
