Actually took some time off yesterday from the "real" world and tried a few cards the Zindorf way. Why did I not upload one of those? Because they are still in the camera... sigh. On the other hand, it is TUESDAY and I am mostly well. Short on sleep and covered in some nasty ugly itchy rash, but well. LOL. On the plus side of that, found 2 shirts I was needing to go with 2 really hard to match skirts, so I am wearing one now. Keeps the legs from itching more if I keep clothing off of them. And, since I tried to cutoff my thumb, pants are too hard to button. And don't even ASK how I got my bra on! This card is simple.. DSP with a vellum butterfly die (Sizzix), a ribbon & a word stamp... tada! Off to work I go to see how much havoc appeared in my absence.

I have not actually met this Virginia, but maybe-just maybe- it is her birthday? This is a repurposed card, meaning I used some wrapping paper as the background and diecut the sentiment (Sizzix) and notched the corners, then attached the whole thing to a cardbase using brads. with that, I will leave you and go look for Virginia... or at least go get ready for work... She only drinks coffee at midnight When the moment is not right Her timing is quite unusual You see her confidence is tragic But her Intuition magic

I know, it is too late for St Patrick's Day cards, but since when did I follow conventional rules? I did a random shuffle as it is Friday, and this is what comes up. The other thing that comes up is that I have not made a single card all this week. Monday was a 'mental day' and a complete success... I even forgot it was payday! Tuesday was grocery shopping and household stuff. Wednesday was clinic, Thursday was massage and now, somehow, it is already Friday! Saturday will be Austin RCG's Spring Equinox so do feel free to join us if you are a woman over the age of 18 :-)

Card sentiment seems a bit off if you listen to the song (link in title)...but then again...maybe not. This is one of my fave cards, actually....

not sure I have ever woken up with System of a Down playing in my head, but oh well! The song has my 2 fave elements... air (Song title is actually Aerials) and water (falls). Today's card is made to fitin a #10 business envelope, in case you don't want your friend to know it is a card the moment the open the mailbox.
