My Chaotic Realm

Tonight is home free. That means nowhere I have to be, nothing I have to do (except a quick stop for milk) and nothing on the evening agenda except Dragon Baths. Those did not get done Tuesday because we went in search of a chest freezer. Our journey ended when we found one @ Sam's. Lowe's, Home Depot & Sear's SELL them but they do not STOCK them, which seems a bit odd to me. Good thing we have a Sam's card! This one is titled "oriental" for the background paper. Then I stamped the woman holding the fan on bottom right & the kanji on the top left, which I embossed with red EP. there is a stamped phrase on lower left but it is hard to see here. In real life it is embossed with black EP.

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLONG day... sigh... this is the song I woke up with and, since my brain would not reboot, I was still singing it tonight, thought I would post before crawling back into bed & seeing if I make it out in the morning or not. Card background is natureprint paper... really.. look it up. This is done with Bastrop pine needles, a pine branch and a leaf. laid needles on the light sensitive paper, placed branch so it threw shadow, and then placed leaf directly onto paper over shadow. Counted to 60, took in & ran under cold water. Awesome stuff. only drawback is the color.. there is only 1 and this is it. Gotta like blue!

Late but lovely evening last night.. .. .. Spirit got home & then we headed out the door for a dinner date. Get this... no potluck, no cooking, no effort at all on my part except show up & eat. How awesome is that? And eat I did... steaks still juicy, mango avocado chutney, roasted ears of corn & baked yams.... we had great food and even better time spent in conversation with some friends we'd not seen in quite some time.
